Sharing Real Life Stories From the Nations

Over the past few years I have had the privledge of bringing the Gospel of the Kingdom.  The two fold vision of the ministry is to first,  bring the liberating news of the Kingdom to unreached people groups and secondly, to strengthen the underground and persecuted Church.  During my journey I have seen, heard, and experienced so many things.  This is my chance to give you a glimpse into my life and hopefully into the need of the world and the heart of God.  My desire is not just to tell people about the message, but to live it before them, and to have you live it with me.  I am excited to share “God’s Work, God’s Way” with you!

The Missionary Life

Beloved Community,

It has been two years since I last stepped foot on Indian soil and it
was great to once again be reunited with India. That news coupled with
the  tremendous blessing to finally have a co-laborer join me on some
of my journeys made for a wonderful time.  Another dear brother and
fellow missionary Isaac Hughes has joined me on my journey to India
and Nepal.  I was able to spend two weeks ministry in meeting after
meeting where I had the chance to speak to literally thousands of
people.  I hope to update you soon on this wonderful heart changing
trip at a later time but as a soon as arrived to India it felt like I
was off again.

After recovering from a cold and some bacteria infections I jumped on
a train and began my 3 day journey to Nepal.  It was a 30 hour + train
ride and a hard few hour bus ride topped off by a rickshaw ride before
I made it to the border of Nepal.  I stayed in a $3 hotel where little
sleep was found but plenty of mosquitoes.  After a few hours of sleep
it was off to begin my long hard journey through the mountains on some
buses that needed to be retired to finally reach my destination.  With
all of that said here I am and oh how joyful it is to be here.

I arrived to see my good friend the Jackson family and will spend some
time ministering in the mountains with other dear friends who I have
not seen in a year.  Please lift up the time that we will spend trying
to reach people with the transforming news and power of the gospel of
the Kingdom.  I am believing Father for wonderful things and look
forward to updating you with a wonderful report.

I appreciate you and all you have done to stand with me as I minister
the love and power of our God.  I hope and pray that all is well with
you and your family as we continue to make the name of Jesus famous
all over the world.  We go to make a difference! I can not express my
gratitude to you for your partnership with the ministry.  Eternity
will only tell the impact we are making.  May the grace of Father
surround and keep you.

This is the final video in our series on how to wash clothes by hand. I hope you enjoyed them.

The Human Washing Machine.

After a short break from the action we returned to washing clothes and with the action comes more laughs.  Not only is this video educational its also entertaining.  I hope you are enjoying the journey with me.

This a series on how to wash clothes by hand  in the Himalayas.  Its funny and adventurous at the same time.  See what its like and enjoy a laugh with me.  In this short video we attempt to start washing but ran into a unique situation which prevented us to start.

In the life of Freddy….. fun times in a village!

Come with me as we tour a few houses in a village near Kathmandu, Nepal.  I was born and raised in a big city, Chicago, but you couldn’t tell by this video (or maybe you can, hahahaha).  We see what life is like for the average person.  See the preparation of a meal, visit a pig farm, a few houses, and meet some wonderful people.  An entertaining 17 minutes. Thanks for coming along.  Forward we march!

Cambodia- The adventures begin

Beloved Community,

From Minus 0 to close to a 100 degrees, a seven hour time difference, and too many cultural difference to list I arrived to begin a new chapter in life.  My journey to Asia has embarked and with it comes the beginning of new memories and exploits for the Kingdom.  I left my beloved Vietnamese family in Norway and traveled for 3 straight days.  Tired and exhausted I arrived to Cambodia to see my dear friend and fellow co-laborer Keith Lawler, a missionary to Cambodia for the past 8 years.

I am eager to being accomplishing the purposes of God for my life in SE Asia.  This week we go deeper in fulfilling this task.  I will be going to numerous villages to strengthen the church, reach the lost with the good news of the Kingdom, meet with monks to share of our God and Savior, teach at a bible school, encourage the Beloved in house meetings, and strengthen my relationships.

Although weary in body my spirit is hungry for something great.   I am deeply stirred with everything within me to make this one of the most memorable seasons in life.  I am aware that accomplishing this task will not be easy. There are many obstacles and challenges that we will face but together we can bring a real tangible change in peoples lives for the Kingdom of our God.

Understanding the cost is one thing but paying the price is another.  I am here not only to count the cost but also to pay the price.  Together lets change a dying world.  Your prayers and giving are continually changing lives.  I could not do this without you.  Thank you.

Forward we march to advance the agenda of Heaven. To destroy the works of the devil, establishing His Kingdom, set the captive free, bring into submission His enemies, to make His name famous, to love and fall deeper in love with Him. Live to accomplish His purposes.

We go to make a difference.

I had the chance to go and try to make a difference in the lives of people in Thailand.  This was a slum near the Myanmar border. We walked through and handed out candies to the children.  It was a wonderful time.

The Mongolian Life

I had a wonderful time in the wild land of Mongolia.  Here is a precious family I had a chance to meet.  The Father is a pastor laboring in the Northern part of the country.

His people in His presence

It was the 5th straight day of traveling and the 3rd straight day of ministering (of a longer season) and I was absolutely exhausted.  I made a request for someone else to share that night but my request was denied.    Most of the people that joined that meeting had worked over 12 hours in their fields.  During monsoon season most of the villagers are busy planting rice.  This group came straight from the mountains to our meeting tired and hungry.  The look on their faces was discouraging.  We both looked like we did not want to be there.  It was in this state that I was quickly reminded of my reason for coming.  I was not going to give in to discouragement, I fought it with everything I had.  I was determined to see a breakthrough.  I was going to be the vessel of breakthrough that the Lord was going to use for this church.  I holy indignation for these people arose within me. I began to minister and about half way through I felt a strong shift in the Spirit.  God was beginning to move.  I called the people to respond to the message and all came to receive a fresh touch from Father.  Old and young began to weep as the Lord poured out His Spirit in the mountains of Nepal.  It was a powerful time.  We went well into to the night crying out to God.  The weariness of the day was quickly forgotten.  Natural hunger pains were no more in the presence.  People were receiving a fresh touch of God.
